We started in 2026 inside The School for Moral Ambition. Running its operations showed us that small nonprofits face the same problems as large ones, with none of the staff for it. The founder ends up doing payroll, GDPR, contracts and tool migrations, and the mission gets whatever time is left.
So we embed. Each customer adds Moral Fabric as a role in their own structure, with accountabilities we hold and they can point to. They start on our defaults and take over whatever they want to run themselves.
Every policy, tool stack and process we build becomes a pattern in the Moral Fabric app. The next customer adopts it and adapts it, which is how a small team supports many organizations.
